east mission.

Dear house,

Thank you for becoming a home with us and for us and through us. You were our first home  - you have soaked up thousands of laughs and thousands of tears. In your walls we have learned to be a husband and wife. We have learned how to love better and harder and to fight more fairly. We still have a long way to go and we'll always be learning, but this is where we started. This has been the most bruising blessing year of my life but you have been the place of safety and rest at the end of long days. In the back of my mind it still feels as though you didn't actually exist until we moved in. However, you have been around for years and molded yourself into hundreds of stories, no doubt. I hope and pray you will be a place of solace and comfort on the best and hardest days for the next people here. Cheers to the next.
